The short version

TripFX has no accounts, no ads, no third-party trackers and no analytics SDKs. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts or anything that identifies you.

What the app sends

To display up-to-date exchange rates, the app periodically contacts our own rate server (tripfx.app). Each request includes:

• a random device identifier (a UUID generated on first launch — it is not derived from your device and identifies neither you nor your hardware),
• the device brand and model (e.g. “Apple iPhone17,2”),
• the app version.

We use this data only to protect the service against abuse (rate limiting) and to count installations in aggregate. It is never sold, shared or linked to any identity.

What stays on your device

Your currency list, the amounts you type and the cached exchange rates are stored only on your device. They never leave it.
